Gilchrist Elementary School

Gilchrist Elementary is one of Tallahassee's most distinguished elementary schools consistently recognized for its high academic excellence and educational standards. As part of its mission to create a quality learning environment, state-of-the-art facility, and a curriculum that will be the foundation for lifelong learning, Gilchrist Elementary commissioned two educational murals for its campus introducing young students to the diversity of the wetlands and the essential role pollinators play in nature. 

The murals add to the aesthetic value of the campus and the children's surroundings, and have already been incorporated into classroom projects and other educational activities. This project sets the example of combining art and learning as a way of piquing the curiosity of young minds and investing in the generations to come.
